Journal: Changing Dimensions of Legal Horizons
(Peer-Reviewed / Refereed International Journal)
The Editorial Board of “Changing Dimensions of Legal Horizons” invites original, high-quality research papers, articles, case comments, and book reviews for its forthcoming issue for the academic session July–December 2025. The journal aims to provide a platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, and scholars to contribute to the evolving discourse in the field of law and allied disciplines.
The journal is published in both print and online formats, bearing ISSN (Print): 2395-7506 and ISSN (Online): 3139-0676, ensuring wide visibility and accessibility of scholarly work at both national and international levels.
THEMES AND AREAS
Ö Present critical analysis of legislation and evolving statutory frameworks.
Ö Provide insightful interpretations of landmark judgments and their implications for jurisprudence.
Ö Address policy-making processes, governance challenges, and regulatory reforms.
Ö Engage with comparative legal studies, drawing on experiences from different jurisdictions to inform best practices.
Ö Highlight emerging issues in legal education, curriculum development, and professional ethics in the legal field.
Ö Offer innovative theoretical frameworks and practical solutions for addressing pressing societal and legal challenges.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Research papers/articles should be submitted only by e-mail at: cdlhjournal@mau.edu.in
2. The title page should include: Title of Paper, Full Name(s) of author(s) and Institutional affiliations; current title and position, Contact number(s) and E-mail address(s). Author(s)’ name should not appear on any other page. The title page must clearly indicate the name of corresponding author who will handle communications at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication.
3. Co-authorship is allowed to maximum five authors.
4. The preferred length of full paper (including references) is 5,000 words (maximum limit). It must include an Abstract (no more than 500 words) and 3-5 Keywords.
5. The structure of legal research papers or articles should be as follows: Abstract; Keywords; the Main Text should be ideally divided into Introduction, Statement of Problem, Analysis and Discussion, and Conclusion, etc. Where applicable, sections such as Constitutional Provisions, Legislative Framework, Case Law Analysis, and Comparative Perspective may also be included. Subsections should be numbered and presented in a coherent manner.
6. Review Paper/article/judgement should provide a comprehensive foundation on a topic; explain the current state of knowledge; Identify gaps in existing studies for potential future research and highlight the main methodologies and research techniques
7. Book reviews should cover review of the book’s content and scope; contribution the book makes to field of knowledge and identification of the paradigmatic or intellectual perspectives in which the work is grounded.
8. Full paper must be written in ‘British English’, typed using ‘Times New Roman’ (normal style and font size- Title and main headings14 bold subheadings 12 bold and main description 12) and in ‘MSWord’. Page size should be A4, single column with 2.5 cm margin on both sides with 1.5 line spacing. All pages of the research papers/articles (including Tables and Figures) should be numbered.
9. Authors are required to follow ILI style of citation and these are to be given in the form of footnotes.
10. It is author's responsibility to ensure that all footnotes and citations are correct, and that the contribution does not contain any material that infringes copyright, or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or litigious. Research papers/articles should be original, not published elsewhere and plagiarized checked. Submitted research papers/articles should not have the similarity index more than 10%.
11. All the submitted papers will go through the editorial screening to ensure that the research paper match with the focus areas and objectives of the Changing Dimensions of Legal Horizons (CDLH)
12. Research papers that clear the editorial screening will be forwarded for Peer Review.
13. Copyright in the manuscript will remain with the Publisher (Maharaja Agrasen University).
14. The publisher reserves the right to review and edit the research paper for clarity, style, and conformity with publication standards, without altering the author’s substantive content or conclusions.
