INVITATION TO CONFER PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITY AWARDS

 

In recognition of outstanding contributions to the legal fraternity and to encourage excellence in education, research, advocacy, and service to society, Maharaja Agrasen University proposes to confer the following prestigious awards in conjunction with its academic publication “Changing Dimensions of Legal Horizons.”These awards aim to acknowledge individuals and NGOs who have demonstrated exceptional merit and commitment in various spheres of legal education, practice, and public service.

Categories of Awards

1. Peer Educationalist Award

Purpose: To recognize outstanding educators and scholars who have made exemplary contributions to legal education and academic innovation.

Eligibility: Open to academicians, legal researchers, and educators in universities or institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India or other statutory bodies. Minimum of 10 years of experience in education or research is required.

2. Legal Luminary Award

Purpose: To honour distinguished jurists, judges, senior advocates, or legal scholars who have made a transformative impact on law and justice delivery.

Eligibility: Open to members of the judiciary, senior advocates, eminent jurists, or legal scholars. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the legal field is required.

3. Pro Bono Award

Purpose: To recognize individuals or organizations who have rendered exceptional voluntary legal services for the underprivileged and marginalized.

Eligibility: Open to advocates, NGOs, legal aid institutions, or law firms involved in pro bono work.The applicant must have demonstrable contribution in free legal services, awareness, or reform initiatives.

4. Young Professional/Academician Excellence Award

Purpose: To celebrate young professionals/Academician who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and consistent contribution in their area of legal practice, academic and research.

Eligibility: Open to young practicing advocates, in-house counsels, professionals, academicians and researchers with significant contribution.
